Bacon and Egg Grilled Cheese

Today for lunch I was craving a bacon and egger, but didn’t feel like leaving the house to get one.  So I decided to come up with a way to satisfy this craving and it turned out so well.

Bacon and Egg Grilled Cheese

For each serving you need:

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 strip of pre-cooked bacon
  • margarine or butter for buttering the bread

Directions:

1.  Fry egg in a frying pan.

2.  Butter the outside of the slices of bread.

3.  Place the bread butter side down on frying pan.  Place a slice of cheese on top.  Place fried egg on top.  Cut slice of bacon in half (I like to fry bacon then freeze it so it’s ready for sandwiches, etc).  Top with another slice of cheese and the second slice of bread (keeping the buttered side out).  Fry until golden brown on both sides.

4.  Enjoy!
